King’s has a special parents’ evening on Monday 22
September. We have invited Murray Letham in to talk about Social Media to
help you understand some of the activities your son or daughter might be
engaging in online. For further information please see this letter.
You may have heard about SEXTING where young people take and
share inappropriate images of themselves and others, as this has been in the
news several times in the past year. Last year in CPSHE all students
received information on the issues associated with this activity. As part
of the CPSHE programme this year, Murray Letham will come in and talk to
the different year groups about Social Media. Murray has already spoken to the staff at the
start of this school year.
